Lucknow, July 14 -- With the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections drawing closer, the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) (LJP-R) is stepping up efforts to strengthen its organisational base in the politically crucial state.
LJP (Ram Vilas) president and union Minister Chirag Paswan, a NDA partner at the Centre as well as in Bihar, will chair the party's key state executive meeting in Lucknow on Wednesday, where leaders are expected to finalise the roadmap for expanding the party's footprint ahead of the elections.
