Bhubaneswar, Jan. 9 -- The three-day Chilika Bird Festival and Boat Racing Competition, held at Mangalajodi and Barkul on the shores of Chilika Lake, concluded successfully, opening a new chapter in Odisha's tourism promotion through boat racing and photography events.
Addressing the valedictory ceremony, Odisha's Law, Works and Excise Minister Prithviraj Harichandan described Chilika Lake as one of the world's most significant tourism destinations.
He emphasized that innovative initiatives such as boat racing are crucial for enhancing the lake's global appeal.
