Chandigarh, Nov. 3 -- A nine-year-old boy sustained serious injuries after a stray bullet struck him during a Nagar Kirtan procession in Ludhiana on Sunday.
The incident occurred when a participant allegedly fired shots in celebration, but one bullet accidentally hit the child.
According to police, the bullet pierced through the boy's thigh, leaving him profusely bleeding. Bystanders immediately rushed him to a private hospital, where doctors described his condition as critical.
