Mexico City, Dec. 12 -- Veteran striker Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez has parted ways with his boyhood club Guadalajara, the Mexican top-flight side said.
The announcement came less than two weeks after Guadalajara was eliminated from the Liga MX Apertura title race with a quarterfinal loss to Cruz Azul.
"Club Deportivo Guadalajara informs that Javier Hernandez is concluding his second spell as a Chivas player," the club said in a social media post.
