Raipur, March 19 -- Chhattisgarh cadre IAS officer Ravi Mittal (2016-batch) has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Prime Minister's Office (PMO).
The appointment was approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Mittal, who is currently serving as Public Relations Commissioner in Chhattisgarh, will now move to Delhi to take up his new assignment.
The order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) states that his tenure in the PMO will be for four years from the date he takes charge, or until further orders.
