Raipur, July 16 -- The Chhattisgarh Assembly on Thursday passed the Chhattisgarh Ease of Doing Business Bill, 2026. Economic experts believe that the legislation marks an important reform in simplifying the state's regulatory framework for businesses.
It introduces a risk-based and trust-based approval mechanism for industries and commercial establishments. The state government expects the new framework to make Chhattisgarh the first state in the country to adopt such a system for granting business approvals.
