Raipur, July 28 -- Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, accompanied by his wife Kaushalya Sai, today visited the world-renowned and historic Bhoramdeo Temple, where he offered prayers to Lord Shiva and performed customary rituals.

Circumambulating the temple, the Chief Minister prayed for the peace, prosperity, progress and overall welfare of the people of Chhattisgarh.

Sai also participated in the ongoing five-day Maha Chatur Shuddhi Sahasra Kalasham Mahaanushthan, joining the sacred rituals amidst Vedic chants and offering prayers for the state's progress, social harmony and well-being of people of the state.
