Ranchi, Oct. 28 -- The four-day-long festival of Kartika Chhath, dedicated to the worship of the Sun God, concluded today across Jharkhand with thousands of devotees offering arghya (obeisance) to the rising sun while standing in rivers and ponds.
The festival witnessed an atmosphere of deep devotion, with traditional songs and prayers echoing along the ghats and streets leading to the water bodies.
From the early hours of the morning, large numbers of men and women devotees gathered at various ghats to perform rituals and offer prayers to Surya Dev and Chhathi Maiya, filling the air with spiritual chants and hymns.
