Bhubaneswar, Oct. 28 -- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today said that Chhath Puja is a unique festival that embodies tradition, cleanliness, and discipline, reminding us that the true foundation of life lies in nature, in the power of water, air, and the Sun.
Accompanied by his wife, Dr. Priyanka Mandi, the Chief Minister attended the Chhath Puja celebrations at the new Bali Jatra ground in Bhubaneswar, where he offered Arghya (sacred water offering) to the Sun God and prayed for the prosperity and well-being of the people of Odisha.
