Chennai, Nov. 13 -- SCM Garments, part of leading Textile chain Chennai Silks Grouptoday signed a MoU with the Guidance Bureau and Investment Promotion of Tamil Nadu toset up a garment manufcturing facility in Tiruvarur district of Tamil Nadu involving aninvesment of Rs 50 crore.
The investment, signed in the presence of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin andIndustries Minister TRB Raaja at the State Secretariat, would offer jobs to 2,500 people,an official release said.
