Patna, June 24 -- The Special Vigilance Unit (SVU) of Bihar today filed a charge sheet against IAS officer Sanjeev Hans and six others in connection with a corruption case related to the awarding of government contracts in various state departments.
The charge sheet was submitted before the court of Special Vigilance Judge Atul Kumar Singh under provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act, including Sections 7(A), 8, 9, 10 and 12, along with Section 61(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and relevant provisions of the Official Secrets Act.
