Shivpuri (MP), Sept. 5 -- In a major drug bust in Shivpuri district, police seized over 30 kilograms of charas (cannabis) valued at Rs 6.21 crore.
The seizure took place today near Majhera village along the Kota-Kanpur four-lane National Highway, where police detained a man acting suspiciously. Upon searching him, authorities discovered 30.295 kgs of the contraband.
The accused was identified as 38-year-old Sandeep Singh, a resident of Kolaras in Shivpuri district. During interrogation, Sandeep revealed the involvement of a truck driver and a truck owner, both residents of Lucknow. A search operation is currently underway to locate the two suspects.
