Thiruvananthapuram, Nov. 8 -- Kerala BJP President Rajeev Chandrasekhar's long-standing proposal for a Vande Bharat Express service connecting Ernakulam and Bengaluru has become a reality on Saturday, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurating the inaugural train through a video conferencing event.
The proposal was first formally presented by Rajeev Chandrasekhar to union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw during a virtual meeting on October 8.
