Ranchi, April 19 -- A delegation of the Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries met newly appointed ESIC Regional Director Shivendra Kumar and raised issues related to healthcare facilities under the scheme.
The delegation, led by Chamber president Aditya Malhotra, discussed opening new dispensaries, starting ambulance services in major cities, appointment of doctors through ESIC committees and setting up new branch offices.
Malhotra said the ESIC hospital in Bokaro is providing better medical facilities to insured persons and termed it a result of sustained engagement with the Centre.
