Ranchi, April 17 -- The Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries on Friday discussed issues faced by retail traders, including the impact of e-commerce platforms, at a meeting of its retail trade sub-committee.

Members expressed concern over pricing differences between online platforms and retail stores and urged consumers to compare prices before making purchases.

Issues related to trade licences were also raised, with traders citing difficulties in renewal due to ward changes and delays in refunds.

Chamber vice-president Praveen Lohia said a trade licence camp would be organised on April 21 in coordination with the Ranchi Municipal Corporation to address such concerns.
