Shimla/Chamba, March 7 -- The prosecution is likely to move the chargesheet against BJP MLA from Churah and former Deputy Speaker Dr. Hans Raj in the POCSO case registered against him, as a Chamba court on Thursday framed charges and formally commenced the trial.
The legislator appeared before the court during the hearing. The court has fixed March 30 as the next date, when the victim is expected to appear and her statement will be recorded before the judge.
During the hearing, the prosecution will also present its witnesses, who will be cross-examined by the defence counsel representing the MLA.
