Hyderabad, June 8 -- Bhongir MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy on Monday accused Telangana BJP president N Ramchander Rao of making irresponsible remarks and politicising issues related to farmers and state development.
In a video statement, the Congress MP said Telangana had produced 75 lakh metric tonnes of paddy and claimed that the state government had procured nearly 70 per cent of the produce.
He alleged that BJP leaders were creating unnecessary controversy by visiting threshing floors along highways instead of supporting farmers.
