Aizawl, Jan. 1 -- Demanding a CBI probe into the death of Anjel Chakma, the Central Mizoram Chakma Students' union (CMCSU) on Tuesday renewed its call for justice, alleging serious lapses in the investigation and attempts to dilute the racial motive behind the crime.
The demand was followed by a sit-in solidarity protest organised by the student body at Kamalanagar in the Chakma Autonomous District Council (CADC) area on December 31, drawing participation from students, civil society members and community organisations.
