Hyderabad, April 20 -- The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Telangana, C Sudharsan Reddy, on Monday conducted a video conference with District Election Officers (DEOs) and Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) to review the progress of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.
During the meeting, the CEO assessed the status of voter mapping across districts and directed officials to expedite the process, particularly in urban pockets. Emphasising the challenges posed by migrant populations, he instructed the Commissioner of GHMC and DEO Hyderabad, along with the Collectors of Rangareddy and Medchal-Malkajgiri districts, to devise targeted strategies for effective coverage in urban areas.
