Hyderabad, March 18 -- Telangana State Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) C Sudarshan Reddy on Wednesday inspected the Electronic Voting Machines (EVM) warehouse located at Chudi Bazaar in Hyderabad.
During the visit, the CEO reviewed the security arrangements in place to safeguard the EVMs, including the 24-hour surveillance system and adherence to Election Commission guidelines.
He also assessed facilities such as proper ventilation, fire safety measures, uninterrupted power supply, and backup systems.
Officials said the inspection was aimed at ensuring that all protocols are being strictly followed to maintain the integrity and safety of the machines.
