Shimla, March 30 -- A Congress MLA today raised a long-pending issue of forest land demarcation in his constituency during the Zero Hour in the Himachal Pradesh Assembly, highlighting delays stretching back nearly a century.

Ajay Solanki said that the demarcation of forest land in his area has remained unresolved since 1925, alleging that the Revenue Department has failed to settle the matter for almost 100 years. He further said that the prolonged dispute has caused significant hardship to local residents.
