New Delhi, March 17 -- The India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), under the Ministry of Tourism, jointly with the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, conducted a training programme to impart hospitality skills for the Tribal Homestay owners, said the officials on Tuesday.

The programme aims to enhance service standards, improve visitor experiences, and support sustainable livelihood opportunities for tribal communities to encourage community-based tourism.

A total of 40 participants from Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim and Gujarat attended the event.
