New Delhi/ Bhubaneswar, March 10 -- The Centre has refurbished the port connectivity and logistics support in a big way in a series of infrastructure projects in Odisha, union Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal informed the Rajya Sabha in a written reply today.
The Centre has undertaken various connectivity projects to strengthen last mile connectivity to the ports in Odisha. These include upgradation and widening of national highways, new and additional rail lines, auto-signalling, rail over bridges, waterways connectivity and multi-modal logistics park, Sonowal stated to a query by BJD member Manas Ranjan Mangaraj.
