Hyderabad, May 15 -- union Coal and Mines Minister G Kishan Reddy on Friday said the Central Government was making concerted efforts to strengthen healthcare infrastructure in Hyderabad to ensure quality medical services for poor and middle-class families dependent on government hospitals.

Addressing the media after distributing medical equipment at Urban Primary Health Centres (UPHCs) in Harrajpenta, Golnaka, and Kachiguda, Kishan Reddy said that despite the presence of numerous private and corporate hospitals in Hyderabad, there was still a pressing need for high-quality government hospitals accessible to economically weaker sections.
