Patna, Aug. 21 -- Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary has urged the Centre to expedite key infrastructure and development projects in the state, including the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for a high-level dam on the Kosi river.
Choudhary, accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Kumar Jha, met union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar in New Delhi and discussed several issues related to Bihar's development.
Choudhary said in an official release that Sitharaman directed that the DPR for the proposed high-level dam on the Kosi river be completed at the earliest.
