Nagpur, Nov. 17 -- union Tribal Development Minister Jual Oram on Monday said the central government is committed to ensuring that every tribal village in the country is integrated into the national development framework.
He said the Centre has allocated Rs 9,700 crore for various tribal development schemes and is undertaking initiatives to provide permanent housing and improve infrastructure in tribal regions.
Oram was speaking at the valedictory session of a women's empowerment and youth conference held to mark the 150th birth anniversary of tribal icon Birsa Munda.
