Hyderabad, June 10 -- : BJP Telangana state president N Ramchander Rao on Wednesday said the Narendra Modi-led Central Government had played a major role in the development of Telangana over the last 12 years by extending substantial financial assistance, infrastructure projects and welfare schemes to the state.

Addressing a press conference in Hyderabad to mark 12 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's tenure, Ramchander Rao said the Centre had supported Telangana without any discrimination and provided projects, investments and welfare initiatives worth lakhs of crores of rupees.
