Shimla, June 14 -- Congress legislators Ashish Butail and Bhawani Singh Pathania on Sunday questioned the Centre over what they described as a widening gap between financial assistance announced for Himachal Pradesh and the funds actually released, particularly under the Ayushman Bharat scheme and disaster relief commitments.
Addressing a press conference in Dharamshala on Sunday, the MLAs said the people of the state deserved an explanation as to why only Rs 49 crore had been released against health claims of nearly Rs 155 crore incurred during 2025-26 under Ayushman Bharat.
