New Delhi/Hyderabad, July 23 -- The union Coal and Mines Minister G. Kishan Reddy on Thursday accused the Congress and Left parties of politicising the alleged NEET paper leak issue and using students to create unrest, asserting that the Centre has adopted a zero-tolerance policy towards examination malpractices.

Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, Kishan Reddy said the Centre acted swiftly after the NEET paper leak by ordering a fresh examination under stringent security arrangements, arresting 17 accused through the CBI, and enacting stricter provisions under the Public Examinations Act to ensure severe punishment through fast-track courts.
