Panchkula, Sept. 10 -- The central government has extended special air travel concessions under Leave Travel Concession (LTC) for central government employees visiting the Northeast, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands until September 25, 2028.
According to a letter issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the special provision under the Central Civil Services (Leave Travel Concession) Rules, 1988, will remain in effect from September 26, 2026, to September 25, 2028.
Eligible employees may visit any of the four designated regions by converting one Home Town LTC within a four-year block.
