New Delhi, April 3 -- The government on Friday urged citizens to remain calm and avoid panic buying of fuels, as it stepped up coordination with States and union Territories to ensure uninterrupted supply of petroleum products and LPG amid the evolving situation in West Asia.

Reviewing the fuel supply position, the Secretary in the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG) held a meeting with senior State officials, directing them to prioritise domestic LPG distribution, maintain strict vigilance against hoarding, and counter misinformation through regular public communication.
