Hyderabad, May 21 -- The Central Government has approved three major urban infrastructure projects worth Rs 5,681.04 crore for Telangana under the Urban Infrastructure Development Scheme (UCF), as part of 17 projects cleared for six states across the country.
In a statement on Thursday, union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar said the approved Telangana projects include the Khammam-Warangal-Karimnagar Corridor, modernisation of Warangal's sewerage system, and infrastructure projects in Karimnagar, such as model roads, skywalks, foot-over bridges, and non-motorised transport facilities.
