Panchkula, July 17 -- The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, has issued a fresh circular directing Central Government employees to plan their Leave Travel Concession (LTC) journeys well in advance by booking air tickets at least 21 days before the intended date of travel.
The circular, issued on July 16, 2026, reiterates the instructions contained in the DoPT Office Memorandum dated August 29, 2022, aimed at ensuring economical travel and reducing the financial burden on the government.
