Panchkula, Aug. 31 -- The Centre has increased the ways government revenue can be collected on the Non-Tax Revenue Portal (NTRP), clearly adding credit card on UPI to the payment options under the updated banking setup.
The Office of the Controller General of Accounts (CGA), part of the Ministry of Finance's Department of Expenditure, has issued a correction changing the current rules for collecting funds through NTRP.
Under the new rule, an Acquirer Bank, using its Payment Gateway or Aggregator Services, will help collect government revenue from the public, companies, organisations, and independent bodies, among others.
