Mumbai, June 10 -- A day after the tragic incident near the Mumbra railway station, which resulted in the loss of four lives due to overcrowding on local trains, taking lessons from it the central and the state governments are working on a master plan with adequate measures to avoid mishaps on suburban trains and ensure passenger safety, said Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday.

The Chief Minister has admitted that the delay in completion of Metro railways has proved detrimental in decongesting crowded local trains.
