Dimapur, Oct. 6 -- An eight-member team from MHA and the National Disaster Management Authority undertook a visit to Mon district on Tuesday as part of the post-disaster needs assessment being undertaken in Nagaland.
The team made the visit to assist the concerned line departments in the compilation and assessment of the post-disaster needs assessment for the district.
During a meeting held at the Mon DC's conference hall, Mon DC Wennyei Konyak highlighted the damage caused by the monsoon this year.
All the line departments also briefed the central team on the damage caused by the monsoon and submitted a report to it.
The central team asked the line departments of Nagaland to record all the actual damage.
