Lucknow, May 21 -- The Self-enumeration process currently underway in Uttar Pradesh as part of Census-2027 ended today with a total of 46,93,783 family heads registered online.
Thursday was the last day to complete the online self-enumeration process and from tomorrow enumerators will go door-to-door to register the citizens.
According to officials here, so far, over 4.69 million people across the state have filled out the self-enumeration forms, which commenced on May 7.
Officials said, as part of the census procedure, a facility was provided to fill out self-enumeration forms online. This initiative began on May 7 with Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath filling out the self enumeration form.
