Jammu, May 15 -- The Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Dr. Rakesh Minhas today appealed to the people to earnestly participate in digital self- enumeration opening on May 17 - the launch day of Census 2027 operations.
Minhas urged residents of Jammu district to actively participate in the landmark national enumeration exercise.
Dr. Minhas, who is also the Principal Census Officer for the district, addressing a press conference here, informed that the Self-Enumeration (Digital Mode) window for Jammu district shall be open from May 17 to 31, with the official portal going live at 6 AM on May 17.
This will be followed by Field House Listing Operations (HLO) being conducted by trained enumerators from 1st June 2026 to 30th June 2026.
