Ranchi, March 30 -- Central Coalfields Limited has signed a tripartite memorandum of understanding with Ranchi Institute of Neuro-Psychiatry and Allied Sciences and Rotary Foundation for installation of an advanced deep transcranial magnetic stimulation (dTMS) system at RINPAS under its corporate social responsibility programme.

Officials said the BrainsWay dTMS system, equipped with H1, H4 and H7 coils, is intended to strengthen tertiary mental healthcare infrastructure in Jharkhand by expanding access to non-invasive neurostimulation-based treatment.

The project, including three years of annual maintenance support, involves an estimated outlay of Rs 1.98 crore and is being financed by CCL under its CSR allocation.
