Ranchi, May 23 -- Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) has launched "CCL Vidya Sarathi", a CSR initiative aimed at providing free coaching and academic support for JEE and NEET aspirants from economically weaker families living in CCL command areas.

An MoU for implementation of the programme was signed between CCL and the National Computer Literacy Mission (NCSM) at the company's headquarters in Ranchi.

Under the scheme, up to 400 students who pass Class X examinations in 2026 will be selected through an entrance test. Eligible candidates must belong to families with annual income below Rs 8 lakh and reside within a 25-km radius of a CCL establishment, mine or unit.
