Panchkula, July 29 -- The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the last date for schools to submit online applications for affiliation for the 2027-28 academic session through the SARAS 7.0 portal. Schools can now apply till September 30, 2026.
CBSE said the decision was taken after considering requests from schools and in continuation of its earlier circular issued in February this year.
The Board has also given relief to schools that could not complete their work because the SARAS 7.0 portal remained non-functional for some time.
