Panchkula, June 19 -- A special CBI court in Panchkula has remanded suspended Haryana cadre IAS officer to three days of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) custody in connection with the alleged misappropriation of Rs 79.46 crore from the Municipal Corporation Panchkula account maintained with IDFC First Bank.

Ram Kumar Singh, a 2012-batch IAS officer and former Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Panchkula, was arrested by the CBI on Thursday as part of its probe into the alleged diversion of government funds from accounts maintained with private banks.
