New Delhi, May 21 -- The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday filed its first chargesheet in connection with the large-scale misappropriation of Haryana Government funds involving officials of IDFC First Bank, AU Small Finance Bank, public servants of the Government of Haryana, and private persons.
The chargesheet was filed before a Special CBI Court in Panchkula, Haryana. A total of 15 accused have been chargesheeted, comprising six bank officials from IDFC First Bank and AU Small Finance Bank, three public servants of the Government of Haryana belonging to Haryana Power Generation Corporation Ltd., the Development and Panchayat Department, and Haryana School Shiksha Pariyojna Parishad, two shell entities along with their thr...
