New Delhi, May 2 -- In a major boost to international law enforcement cooperation, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has successfully brought back two wanted fugitives Aalok Kumar alias Yashpal Singh and Kamlesh Parekh from the United Arab Emirates in separate coordinated operations.
Aalok Kumar, wanted by Haryana Police, was accused in cases involving cheating, forgery, criminal conspiracy, and fraudulently obtaining passports using forged documents. He was identified as a key conspirator in an organised racket that facilitated individuals with criminal backgrounds in procuring Indian passports through fake identities and addresses. He also allegedly coordinated illegal immigration activities.
