New Delhi, March 17 -- The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today said that it has arrested a Junior Engineer (Electrical) posted at Bhojudih, Bokaro, under South Eastern Railway, for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 from a man in exchange for providing an electrical connection at the site office of a private company.
The accused has been identified as Ravindra Kumar.
According to the CBI, a case was registered on Monday against the accused on allegations that he, while working as a site engineer at Bhojudih, Bokaro, had demanded an undue advantage of Rs 15,000 for providing the electrical connection.
