Kolkata, May 19 -- The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested a fourth accused in the murder case of Chandranath Rath, a close aide of West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari.
Rajkumar Singh, a resident of Ballia in Uttar Pradesh, was arrested from Chhappar in Uttar Pradesh.
This is the first arrest made by the CBI since it took over the investigation into the sensational murder case on May 12.
So far four people have been arrested in this case and all the four accused are residents of states outside West Bengal.
Earlier, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the state police had arrested Vishal Srivastava from Buxar in Bihar, and Raj Singh and Mayank Mishra, from Uttar Pradesh.
