Atul KrishanNew Delhi, May 15 -- In the latest update in connection with the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak case, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) said its investigation has revealed that P V Kulkarni, a Chemistry lecturer, is the alleged kingpin behind the entire operation.
Kulkarni was arrested in Pune after a thorough interrogation. He originally belongs to Latur.
According to the CBI, Kulkarni was involved in the examination process on behalf of the National Testing Agency (NTA) and had access to the question papers. During the last week of April 2026, he allegedly mobilised students with the help of another accused, Ms. Manisha Waghmare, who was arrested by the CBI on May 14, 2026.
