Chennai, July 24 -- In an effort to find an amicable solution to the vexatious Cauvery river water issue, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay will hold talks with his Karnataka counterpart DK Shivakumar on August three at Bengaluru.
According to reporters, Vijay was said to have written to Shivakumar seeking an appointment for a meeting in Bengaluru.
Confirming the development, Agriculture Minister R Vinoth told reporters that Vijay would be visiting Bengaluru on August three to hold talks with Shivakumar on the long standing Cauvery and Mekedatu dam issues.
