Pune, Sept. 21 -- An exhibition featuring more than 300 cartoons drawn by over 110 cartoonists from Maharashtra was inaugurated at the Balgandharva Art Gallery here as part of the 38th Pune Festival.
The exhibition has been organised by Cartoonist Cafe Club, an organisation of cartoonists from Maharashtra.
The cartoons, each measuring 12x18 inches, depict a range of social and contemporary issues.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Nilesh Khare, Chief Editor of the Sakal Media Group, who marked the occasion by drawing a picture of Lord Ganesha.
Senior cartoonist Sanjay Mistry from Mumbai and Loksatta cartoonist Prashant Kulkarni from Mumbai were present as guests.
