Cargill Strengthens Gemini Portfolio, Targets Future Growth
Pune, Apr 14 ( UNI) Cargill is strengthening the e-commerce presence of its edible oil brand Gemini as part of its strategy to tap evolving consumer buying patterns.Speaking to media at the company's Kurkumbh plant in Maharashtra, Vice President and Managing Director, Cargill Food South Asia, Dheeraj Talreja said that the company is expanding Gemini's presence across e-commerce and quick commerce platforms, reflecting the growing shift towards online purchases.He said that while a large share of the business continues to come from physical retail stores, Gemini has had good growth in its e-commerce segment over the past year.
